In an evening filled with interesting cocktails made out of Glenfiddich variants, India’s celebrated food writer Vir Sanghvi unveiled Cocktails Reimagined– a result of a challenge taken upon by Glenfiddich to create an all-new whisky experience with the most exotic ingredients from all over India. Ace Mixologist Yangdup Lama created seven exotic cocktails by using finest ingredients , sourced from different parts of the country which complimented the Glenfiddich 12,15,18 and 21 year Olds.
The ingredients used were the finest flush of Darjeeling Tea, Gung Giri estate’s finest coffee blend, handpicked bay leaf from Assam, cinnamon from Kerala , choice walnuts from Kashmir and more.
The cocktails created were Moon Spring ( Glenfiddich 21 YO, Silver tips Darjeeling full moon handmade tea extract, Nastrium Orange petal Ice cube) Darjeeling Mail Old Fashioned ( Glenfiddich 18YO , castelton Muscatel extract, spring water ice cube) Nutty Rob Roy ( Kashmiri Walnut-infused Glenfiddich 15 YO , palm sugar and black pepper cordial, apple juice & egg white), Brahmaputra Boat ( Glenfiddich 12YO, Bay leaf and Cinnamon Cordial, fresh lime juice and apple juice) , Speyside Tiramashu ( Glenfiddich 12YO, Gung Giri estate strong black coffee, dark chocolate sauce , single cream and caramel syrup) and Mulberry Sparkle ( Glenfiddich 12 YO, Gujarat Figs puree, reduced apple juice, ginger juice, aromatic bitters, lime juice and tonic water.
After New Delhi, these exotic cocktails will be presented before whisky and cocktails lovers in Benguluru.
