Hong Kong Importer Cuvees has gained the exclusive distribution rights for Italy’s famed Prosecco brand Ca’ Di Rajo for the local market starting this month.
The range available in Hong Kong includes the Prosecco Treviso Brut NV, Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene Millesimato Extra Dry 2016, a 2016 Pinot Grigo as well as the 2015 vintages of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, selling from HK$95 to HK$120.
The Millesimato Extra Dry Prosecco is made from 100% Glera, planted in the gentle, hilly and low-yielding growing areas of the Superiore DOCG zone. The wine has undergone a longer than usual ‘Charmat’ vinification over 70 days – double the time required by DOCG standard, according to the winery.
Based in the hills of Treviso, Ca’ di Rajo has been making wines in northern Italy since 1931 and is now a third generation producer of Prosecco.
