Allied Blenders & Distillers Pvt. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Paramjit Singh Gill as its President and CEO. Gill joins ABD from United Spirits where he served as the President of All India operations.
At ABD, he will be responsible to deliver profitable growth and strategic agenda with the senior leadership team directly reporting into him. Gill will directly report into Mr. Deepak Roy, Executive Vice Chairman, ABD.
With 25 years of experience in USL and the parent UB group, Gill brings in a vast experience in leading strategy and execution for global businesses. In 1996, he took on a senior leadership role at United National Breweries Ltd, South Africa where he played a significant role in turning the company around from a loss making operation into a sustainable business. In 2007, he returned as Regional Profit Centre Head of Northern India for United Spirits where he played keyrole in strengthening the position of the company.
Prior to joining the alco-bev industry in 1992, he worked for nine years in Glaxo’s food division.
